It sure is interesting that a school principal is the one that does not believe that I own a Tundra. (Typical educator does not believe anything.) I posted pictures of the tailgate but they were not allowed for some reason. As far as page 35 of the owners manual it tells you to see page 464 section 2 for precautions when loading luggage. I don't believe that an ATV or Golf cart is considered luggage. However page 463-465 never mentions how much weight a tailgate can hold. It only tells you how to compute the max. weight allowed in the truck bed after subtracting out the weight of the passengers. I am not slamming the Tundra just stating the facts. Toyota makes a great product I just feel that at least two of us have a tailgate that was not assembled the proper way. All brands have problems!!
