I just picked up my Crew Max 2wd From Edelbrock today. My truck was used to confirm the fit on Crew Max as well as 2wd trucks. There exhaust is made of 409 stainless with a 304 polished stainless tip extension. The muffler has there Tie-Tec ceramic finish which will last just about forever. The SDT muffler has dual 2.5" inlets with a single 3" outlet.
Edelbrock mufflers have a unique chambered baffle design and sound similar to a Flowmaster 50 series Delta flow.
At idle theres a very slight rumble, so it wont disturb the neighbors, but has a nice throaty sound under acceleration. There is a slight to moderate drone at around 1500 RPM(60-65 mph), but take it to a 70 Mph cruise and its all quite. I personally like it at age 40 something, but a 20 something may want a flowmaster Super 40.
Heres a sound clip from the Edelbrock Site:

There pn# 5716 will fit the 2WD and 4WD Crew Max and Double Cab w-standard bed.
The average street price will be around $450.00, not bad for a stainless kit.
