As for the price, look at the Lexus hybrid that just came out. Their gasoline LS costs around $85K with 380hp. Their new gas electric hybrid LS costs around $125K with 438hp and doesn't really get that much better milage. | There LS 460 base is 61k the LS 460 L (L= long wheel base) base is 71k and the LS 600h L base 104K and LS 600h L launch edition is the one in the 125k area of pricing.
The launch edition, which is already for sale through neiman marcus has a special color, special wheels, special color interior, safety features and a few more extras that are not available in the regular LS 600h L version.
I do believe you get a boost in hp with the hybrid version, but not a whole lot in the way of fuel economy.
If I remember correctly the hybrids on the lexus vehicles usually add about 10k to the price of the vehicle.
I believe the Tundra hybrid is just a rumor and nothing official from Toyota. Time will tell if they make a hybrid or just a diesel version
