The brackets are stronger than the factory metal they bolt into. So they can shake just a little, but that is because of what they bolt onto. The metal above the radiator is pretty thin and flimsy. 1/8" angled steel isn't going to move much at all.
They are not spot beams (aka pencil beams), they are actually euro beams. Spot beams are mostly useless unless you have a BUNCH of them together. The euro beams are wider and more useful. They are more like a high beam pattern. The top half of the lens is designed for long range like a pencil beam is, the lower half of the lens is designed to spread out the light in apprx. 110 degrees to light up the whole road.
