Hey folks, just signed up.
I'm out here on the east coast in NJ just outside Longport. Home of great fishing, beautiful beaches, women, and trucks.
I recently purchased a very nice used 2006 Tundra Double Cab Limited with 10,325 miles on it. Shiney black with awsome looking taupe leather interior. the truck is a real gem and as soon as I take some pics of it I'll post them.

One quick question on the MPG. I'm averaging 13.4 MPG and the manual states about 15MPG. What should be expected with the 4.7L engine???

Welcome Steve to TTZ. Glad you found us, and congrats on your recent purchase of the Tundra. I had a 2000 Tundra with the V8 and averaged about 16 on the highway driving it 65-70, much faster I got 15+/-. If your mileage is mixed city/highway driving, or you are using ethanol blend gas, then IMO, your numbers are pretty good. Now... let's see some pics of your shiny black beauty!!

Didn't they rate the 4.7L in the 07-08 trucks a little higher in MPG?

Welcome to TTz.com. I have the 4.7L powerplant in my 2007 DC. I now have > 35K miles and my AVG is 15.8mpg (80/20 highway/city). I know it is not an apples/apples comparison but, it may be of some help.
