2002 4x4 4.7 Extra Cab

Hey friends I bought my tundra new in 2002 i get about 15mpg in the city and if i keep my foot out of it on the interstate 65mph i get 22.5mpg also use mobile1 synthetic oil. My tundra does not burn any oil at all and i have 140,000+ miles on my engine. I have been very happy with my truck i wouldnt trade it for anything.

Howdy Macgeyvor, and welcome to TTZ. Sounds like you not only have a great truck, you've also gotten good use out of it. Post up some pics when you get a chance!

Welcome to the group. I'm glad to hear that your 4.7 has held up. Considering I only drive about 4 miles a day back and forth to work, my truck should last me another 13 years!

I actuall went 110k before i had the timing belt replaced and also told them to replace the water pump at that time, I had no problems with the waterpump but since they were in there anyway just to replace it.
