| Ask him where he can get the muffler for $80 and installed for $30. The muffler price is about right for online pricing, but no shop around here would install it for $30. Cheapest I found was $75 for basic install. $75 won't break the bank, but $30 would be a lot cheaper.
You don't get a lot of gains from the exhaust. You get more from the headers and then some from intake, and a little from exhaust. The stock piping varies in size all the way through. Not sure why they did that. You can gain a little by having the cat back since the piping should be standard all the way through. But again, you don't gain much from exhaust, it's mostly for the sound.
As for which Magnaflow to get, I'm not sure since I didn't look into them too much after hearing about a few reporting drone from the ones that most have installed.
