When I first got my truck, the VSC was going off all the time, especially going down hill around curves with washboards and potholes.
I thought, wow, the VSC sure is touchy, as I didn't think the truck was in any way sliding or going out of control.
Anyway, ever since I increased the tire pressure to 38-40lbs, I haven't had the VSC go off. It doesn't make much sense to me, if seems that if the tires are harder they would be more apt to hop or slide thus engaging VSC. But, that is my story and I am sticking to it.
