I did the A/C controls first for that reason. It's a lot cheaper to find a used A/C control to replace the one I messed up than to pay for a new dash cluster.

As for the intestinal fortitude, that comes when I tackle those tiny LEDs. Course if those mess up, it's not too much to replace one switch. That thought helps a little.
