| I bought the Volant because of the Nano Fiber technology and the fact it's a dry filter which means there's no oiling. As to which one is better? That all depends on what your criteria is. For me living on a dirty dusty road in dirty dusty Kansas the Proven battelfield filtering of the Donaldson Filter (Read The PDF) makes the Volant better for me. Not to mention the fact that servicing an Air Filter isn't fun. They both claim around the same HP and Torque so it's all up to the individual.
Now If we both have the same truck and I have the Volant and you have the TRD which truck will be faster? That answer is easy, the one driven by the guy with the most racing experience.
