Good write up excellent pics. I definitely like my k&n better though it may not be a closed box design and it might not look quite as good but overall it's a lot better quality and cheaper. With all the turbulence the throttle body adapter adds I don't see how it makes any power. The k&n connects with a coupler to the tb but the intake pipe is same diameter as the tb also it has a velocity stack that the filter attaches to. I'll admit the k&n's designs pulls a lot more hot under hood air though.
