If you have an engine that is very efficient to start with (e.g. only produces the amount of energy needed to propel the vehicle + load down the road) then more energy will be required to drive the alternator to separate the hydrogen (net loss given the energy expended creating the hydrogen exceeding the energy made available from the hydrogen).

Is the Tundra 5.7L producing more energy than it is utilizing? Not sure, but if it is then this increases your chances of realizing a net gain.

Either way this is still a very interesting project that I would love to see successfully implemented and no doubt I'm sure you will have fun doing it.

good read, they made some good points also, i believe they were "over thinking" it some what though, any who, we'll try it and see what happens.........

all it can do is blow up...............lol.....
