My friend just got a new 5.7 also and just put new 20"'s on. He hasn't leveled it or ANYTHING else. I told him that my CEL,VSC,
TRAC, 4LO flashing lights came on 100 miles or so after the Toytec and new wheels and might need to get the VSC recalibrated. I just disconnected the neg and it has not happened yet, but i'm still planning on doing it.
Anyway he punched it from a stop sign and got up to speed (1/2 mi) and the CEL,VSC,TRAC,4LO flashing gig came on......then it just died! He called me and I kinda laughed, till he said it died

! And just keeps cranking. So he didn't have a wrench, so I went down to disconnect. We let it sit for 3-5 min two times, but we were in the dark right off the road and didn't wait for a full 10 min+ for a reset. Well it happened 1/2 mi from his driveway, so I just towed him. He didn't want to deal with it late last night, me niether. So I didn't check battery, fuel fuses. I searched for a bit last night and didn't find anything simalar to this except for a guy who had
water dumped in his tank (which didn't happen). Havent' talked to him this morning, just thought i would post. So anyone.....thoughts?....happened to you? It's sunday so you know what the dealer is going to say. If this is a safty feature, thats BS, what if you were in the fast lane! The oils better be boiling over before it shuts it's self down. BTW gauges were normal. Thanks.
