LED lens for Tow Mirrors

I just noticed that the right (pass. side) amber lens for the LED lamps on my (tow) mirror had been cracked. Of course, no one 'fessed up to it. Luckily, the lens itself is a servicable part: you don't need to replace the whole mirror assembly. The lens was about $25.00 and takes about 30 secs. to replace. I thought I'd post this since those tow mirrors stick out quite a ways and someone else is sure to ding one of those lenses eventually.

You'll need a T-15 Torx screwdriver (with a magnetic tip). Move both mirror lenses inward (toward the window). You'll see two Torx screws behind the LED lens on the inside of the mirror housing. Just remove them, then unsnap the electrical connection to the lens (for the LED lamps) then pull the lens away. To install, just do the reverse.

Hope this is helpful!
