Those of you that drive below the posted speed limit are not only a nuisance, but also a DANGER to everyone else on the road. You are forcing law abiding citizens to go out of their way to pass you. As a motorcycle rider, it's VERY scary to see vehicles changing lanes.

The laundry list of things to increase your gas mileage: Set your tire pressures a couple psi below the max pressure on the side wall, keep your cruise set at the speed limit, use the transmission to downshift for engine braking instead of applying the brakes (causes fuel cut), maintain a higher speed through corners (requires less accelerating to get back up to speed), and finally plan ahead: if you see stopped cars ahead coast up to them instead of running up behind them and hitting the brakes.

Oh, one more thing that's generating some publicity is to remove a carbon screen from the intake tract, located in the top of the airbox just after air filter. I've removed it on my truck, but I'm not yet convinced if they generate an increase in mileage. Currently I feel it is worth ~.2mpg, but I won't know until I can do another highway trip and check mileage (in town driving is too variable).
