| I talked to a man today running a setup on a V6 Dakota. He gets an improvement of 10mpg on his truck. It runs gasoline and hydrogen part time. He says his conversion cost 4,000.00 so he had to drive 30k miles to pay for the unit.
I am more in favor of a CNG conversion. CNG costs about 1/2 as much as gasoline or even less if you are in an area where you can get the gas. I understand the conversion to CNG might run about 1200.00 for a V8 truck. Anybody know more about CNG? |
