| 4.7L Oil Change Questions I am due for my first oil change and was wondering how many quarts of oild does this engine take? What type of oil are you guys using? Synthetic? 10w30? What is a good filter to use on this motor? I always used Fram Filters on my Tacoma. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

| Hey RI-Tundra, I have been using 5W30 dino oil in my 4.7L with Toyota brand filters. This is what is recommended in the owner's manual. I used to change the oil in my vehicles but, these days it is just easier to let the dealer do it. They charge $ 54.74. The 4.7L engine (2UZ-FE) takes 6.6 quarts (with filter). re.ac.tor
