| are cai and headers worth it? I have 50,000mi on my 06 tundra i-force 4.7L 4x4 xsp and looking to do something with it. Been torn between cold air intake or just putting a k&n in stock compartment???... and if it's worth it installing some headers too. curious about performance, sound, and problems with this combination (to much air flow for computer)??? | I tend to agree that the ideal is a complete systems approach...intake, headers, exhaust and engine control. The 06 seems to have had better results with Unichip than many have with 07s and later.

| I only have the cold air intake and it has made a huge difference. And it sounds real mean! Im putting on a banks exhaust system next and then will be doing headers last.(mostly because of cost) Cold air is the way to go, instead of the K&N filter box thing. |
