Changing the sparks plugs on the 4.7L ?..

I went to change the spark plugs on my 4.7L tundra and noticed there is a part to the engine mounted over cylinders 5 and 6 with a flex tube comming from the engine connecting to the part.. Is it safe to remove the 3 bolts that mount the part to the engine and bend it back to gain access to the spark plug on these two cylinders or should I just have the dealer do it in case the flex tube brakes..?

We have at least one Toyota mechanic on the forum who will probably be able to answer the question for you Toyodan07.

    Got it figured out

I figured it out while looking over the engine a little better and planning my appoach to installing a set of Doug Thorley headers. The flex tube I mentioned before goes to the air injection tube (I think I have that right) on the headers. So I think the best way would be to take the two bolts out of the flange that connects to flex pipe to the header air injection tube. Then remove the three bolts that mount the other part over cylinder 5 and another over 6 allowing you access to the plugs.
