I agree here. Toyota has done a good job improving the volumetric efficiency of the engine by reducing pumping losses. Evident in the stock 4-2-1 headers and the Large intake box with a short ram intake tube.

I bought the intake for a little more sound, top end scoot (can probably also be acheived with just a high flow filter), AND to prep for the supercharger which will definitely require more air flow rate.
