| Bottom of the window is best for laser. Not sure in a truck since the front is so tall. Top of the window is best for all other types of radar. My theory is that once the radar detector goes off for laser, it's just a notice that you are about to be pulled over cause you've already been clocked. I have picked up stray lasers (from other cars being hit) with my detector and slowed down in time before I got lasered.
