Tox, I a quick likely eazy question for you. I have the JBL premium, and when i do my install, i am going to wire my own amp rather than use the JBL. So, will the basic wiring harness work since i am not tapping into the JBL? I am not sure if the basic harness (K3)will tap correctly into the far right factory harness (which is a K9). Thanks and great write up. You have saved countless people over $500 bucks in install work!!! |
The plugs should be different and therefore will not work.
BTW, you can apparently upgrade your Z1 to a Z3 with a Z3 cloned hard drive. Check avic411 and there is a guy selling them for around $130 IIRC..
