| The engine may do 160, but the limiter may be there because the driveshaft may not be able to handle the speed. I have a friend with and avalanche and even with a superchips reprogrammer it still limited to 120. The programmer company said they experienced drive shaft failures above that speed.  |

| if its only a drive shaft, that should be easy to make one for higher speeds. |
