It's a tight fit, so take your time and be careful. The plastic locking levers, or whatever there called, will break real easy; how do I know

But I definately think it is worth it, I will be getting a custom tune in the near future for the 93 octane setting. From what I have read, that's how you get the most out of the unichip is by having it custom tuned.

    Hope this helps you, later...

Has anyone tried the SLR Chip, They advertise 50 HP-- 50TQ and 3 to 6 MPG. All for only $69.95 ? This sounds to good to be true. Other Chips out there cost Hundreds more. And doe's anyone know where the computer is? I think in the kick panels or behind glove box. THANKS

It's a paper weight. Don't waste your money. Only chip out there right now is Unichip. Someone mentioned that Diablo is testing right now and should have somethig out by the end of March.

The engine computer is under the hood in the firewall. On the left if you are standing in the front of the truck looking back.

It is programed to better use fuel and air to match what you want and is helpful if you have mods like CAI, headers, exhaust. Mine has lowered the torque and power band to an area better for towing.
