Question Latest Opinions on DT Long Tube Headers?

So I've read some good and some not so good reviews on these, about as mind-numbing as doing research on mufflers and CAI.

Those of you that have the DT LT headers, are you happy with them? Is there any lose in low-end torque? Do you have before and after dynos? The dynos on the DT website aren't clear, they almost look like everything drops off at around 5,300 rpm, but I can't tell.

Sometime in the future (not so near future until I pay off the rest of this crap I got on my truck), I'm looking to purchase the Hypertech speedo calibrator, DT LT headers (depending of feedback), and that URD MAF calibrator.

Any discussions on this is appreciated.

Actually looking at shorty headers instead after talking to Nick at the Doug Thorley shop. Input on those would be great...cheers!

I responded to your PM. Are you close enough to them that the guy from Thorley who does installs on the side could put them on? It would be worth it as he has a lot of experience doing installs from what I hear.

Yep, I'm just around the corner from them and Nick did mention the guy that can do it on the side. I usually like doing things myself, but from what I read about the difficulties with install and the fact that wifey would beat the sheet out of me if she sees me working on the truck anymore (can barely sneak in a wash every week now...sheesh); I think I'll take your advice and have a professional do it.

Even though I keep telling myself that the speedo calibrator is next on the list, it may get bumped again...now I just need to sell these rims!
