TRD Stock Dual exhaust

Hi all.
This is my first Post. I have a 2007 Double cab with TRD cold air intake. I want to add the TRD stock dual exhaust. Question is am I making a mistake ? Will I get a nice sound from the TRD exhaust ?

I have a 09 TRD....there is not a big difference from the sound of my truck and my friends 08 non TRD....i would go with a cat back or just a new muffler from flowmaster or something like that...

Getting older here also. I already have TRD cold air intake.
So the stock dual mufflers have a deeper but not too loud sound ?

I have the TRD dual exhaust on my 07 Tundra. Exhaust is not excessively loud but comes on pretty loud under full throttle. The TRD duals only has 1 muffler with dual inlet and dual outlet. There is quiet a bit of drone at about 1500 to 2000 RPM under light throttle.

We old Titan owners found that when we put a Catback on which increased the pipe from 2.5" to 3" we lost the low end torque and acquired a drone. So after years of people messing around what us owners of the 5.6L learned was keep the stock pipes for the low end torque and just add a new muffler. One of the best sounding is the Spin Tech Mufflers and starts at around $80.

Here's an idea of the sound.

Here's a clip of a Titan with flowmasters and the drone is when he's driving the truck and best heard with earphones. Basically drone fills the cab where exhaust sounds emanate from the back if that makes sense.

Here's another one.
