Guess what - the whole thing is a channel frame, not even boxed.
Too many people bought into the fully boxed frame commercials that Ford was putting out for their F-150. I always point out that the 3/4 and 1 ton Ford trucks use C-channel frames.

And did you see where people were commenting in there about the tester loading the truck with "only" 1000 pounds? He said he did that because of the tire ratings, but also it's a "half ton" truck with a smaller V8 engine, how much were they expecting him to load in the truck?
