Ya. I agree with the instructions a little bit crappy. I pre assembled mine, then installed it on the truck. The first time, the bag appeared lopsided, so I switched the bags and got it right. Got a Sharpy and marked all components D and P for Driver side and Passenger side. So if I ever removed it I won't interchange the parts.

Pre assembled the top and bottom brackets with the bag, then, lift the truck body a little bit to extend the suspension, compress the bag with the brackets on it, line up the top holes, and then bolt it down.
