Tox mentioned it in the other thread, but I thought I'd put it here so all could benefit from it.

When you disconnect the positive terminal from the battery, tap the brakes to discharge the leftover electricity in the system.

I didn't do it the first time because I forgot, and when I did my first drive the auto lock at 15 MPH didn't work.
I reset the computer, this time tapping the brake pedal while the battery was disconnected, and it works fine now.
