I had a stuck accerator one time on my old Dodge Ram, the brakes where not enough to bring it to a stop when it was at full throttle, took it down to 25 MPH when I stupidly through it into Park to keep from hitting a car in front of me, thier was a lot of grinding but surprisingly it didn't kill the tranny.
