| If I ever decide to install these again in another vehicle, remind me that I hated installing these today. I finally got all the exterior wiring done at 1:00 am. A friend decided to go dove hunting in the morning and I decided to go with him. Course I didn't figure this wiring taking so long.
I ran the wires into the truck and did a temporary interior wiring to test the sensors and leave it until Sunday. Well, the front right sensor and the rear right center sensor (the one with the scratch) are both giving false readings. The rear one tells me to stop because I am too close to something and the front right one shows that I am just over a foot away from something at all times. The rear one MIGHT have been reading the tailgate since it was down, and the camera cord MIGHT have been hanging off the tailgate and in front of it. But the camera cord part is doubtful. I'll find out for sure when I go dove hunting in the morning. But I have no clue why the front right one was messed up. That was the ONE sensor I wanted and the reason I installed the kit. And I would hate to go through and rewire it for that one sensor. I didn't even extend that wire so it's either the sensor or maybe I got some silicone on the face, I dunno. I'm tired and going to bed.
I got tired of taking pictures when I became a little nauseous while under the truck. Maybe it was the fumes from the lubricant used while drilling that ended up on the floor. Maybe I got tired of looking up the whole time while laying on my back and running wire. It was a kind of motion sickness feeling. I'll take some finished pictures later to make up for the ones I skipped. I did get the important ones though.
