After owning Toyota's for a long time, I am starting to wonder what their designers are thinking. I have owned a 1984 4x4 pickup,a 1998 and 2006 Tacoma's that were all good pickups. The Tundra is great, but how do you shut off the DRL's on this truck. My 06 you could use the ebrake trick but the Tundra when doing the same a warning buzzer goes off once you get over 5 MPH. While I am driving the backroads getting to my hunting areas, I don't want the drl's on.

How can these be bypassed on the 2009? I have unhooked all of the ground wires on the inner fender next to the battery as can be done on some of the older models. This does not work on the 2009.
