I just called and verified what I had been told before. Volant has submitted the paperwork for a CARB # and expects approval at some point. The problem is California takes a very long time to process the application so there is no firm time-line to receive it.

A friend works for Dinan Cars (BMW) and they are waiting over a year in many cases for a CARB # on their products.
