I would like that as well.
I have been curious to why I never hear a beep or sound when I lock or unlock my truck. My wifes Camry makes the noise.
Does the trucks not do that.
Mine being a limited, does it have any sort of factory alarm that I didnt know about.
Now I feel stupid.

With the Limited Ground, if your alarm is not activated, you can have the dealer turn it on for you with a Techstream... if you have a good relationship with them, they might do it for free.

Hmmm! Well I guess I can ask, that wont cost much.
They probably wont like me much since I didnt spend my money there buying it.

I just am so used to hearing something when I walk off that it had locked. Now I constantly have to double check and hit it more than 3 times. At night its not as bad cause I can see the lights. During the day is different.

Check the manual. i have a very aggressive after market alarm, locks the doors in 30 seconds after i close them. then vibrages the key fob in my pocket to let me know its locked, and it beeps.

Here's that PDF about all the customizable functions.
changable-tundra-electronics.pdf

I went ahead and made a thread with that link and stuck it in the Modification tools forum for safe keeping.

No, they didn't charge me to turn the alarm on. The tech was very cool about it and just turned it on for me for free. He was also cool about making any and all changes to the other settings as well.
