Tweeter locations

Just wondering for those with seperates where you guys mounted the tweeters. Over the woofer? In the dash? In the pillar? Just looking for an effective location.

Best spot for your ears is to put the tweeter right next to the woofer. Here's how I fit mine in the front doors:

I have a second pair of tweeters for imaging. The main pair are mounted very close to the woofers in the stock location. Is there anyone out there that has put them in the A pillar firing at each other, preferably raised to raise the soundstage. I understand this is superior to the sails or stock-dash locations.

Just dont do what I did. When I was installing my rear tweeters, I removed my seatbelts and installed in the rear cab piller (between the rear door and rear window). I was very proud of my install untill my friend came over put the seat belt back in the hole and showed me that the tweeter will be covered up. You can still hear it, but it defies the reason I put it there.
