If it was a Rostra camera and not the OEM then i may be able to find a Rostra dealer local to you. If it was an OEM part number then it would have to be done just like you are running into. Installed by a Toyota dealership it would have had a parts and labor warranty, installed outside source then parts replacement only and not labor is covered.  |

| That is the OEM part number. That is also the camera that has been discontinued for quite a while now. What did your local dealer say they could do for you? I have not been able to find a OEM camera from anyone in a very long time. The Rostra camera is the one I sell on my site, just like Sparks does. |

| I just spoke with Toyota Warranty, and apparently the camera's are on an exchange only plan just like all of the factory radio's. So it is not that they are not available, we just can not order them to sell. When we have a warranty camera we send a fax to the manufacture and they send us a replacement. We then take the old one and send it back to them so that they can repair it for the next vehicle that is faulty. |

| If it is a Rostra camera, it requires 12 volts for operation. I would recommend connecting the camera's power line (red) to your reverse line which will have 12 volts when you put the truck into reverse. |
