Stereo Help

Posted 06-04-2009 at 02:30 PM by garretmc

Ok. I have a 2003 tundra. So I've been looking around on different sites and have learned that putting an aftermarket head unit into a tundra with a factory amp (like the one I have) is a problem. Before I knew this, I bought a stereo harness from walmart. It doesnt fit the 20 pin harness in the truck but I found that there are two harnesses that go into the bottom of the factory amp. Anticipation!!!!

Posted 06-03-2009 at 11:15 AM by arctictundra

I have been in constant communication with my dealer since the passing of my beloved 07 Crewmax SR5 TRD 4x4. I have learned that my new truck 2010 Crewmax SR5 TRD 4x4 is in transit to my dealer. I should see my "new" baby in a couple of weeks.

Acceleration shudder

Posted 05-20-2009 at 05:52 PM by albitner

I've noticed that when accelerating from a stop that there is a light shudder that lasts about a second. It never happens when I'm already going and there is no problem when the AT is shifting. I have a 2008 crewmax, 5.7 l with 6 sp auto, 1/3 lift, 25,000 miles. I would like to know if this is a common problem that needs to be checked out by the dealer or is it even a problem at all?
