Switched 12Volts Under Dash

Does anyone know of an easily accessable 12 V wire under the dash. I'm looking for power for recently installed fog lights.

The left side cigarette lighter is ignition switched. You could use it to energize the solenoid of a relay

You aren't powering the fog lights with this power wire you are looking for, right? You should draw power from the battery with a fused line and then use a switched power for the relay. I used the parking lights (and a switch) to switch the relay for my fog lights. That way, when the parking lights are off, then the fog lights are off.

If you want to access the cigarette lighter power, stick a thumb in the socket and the other thumb in the acc. power socket, grab tight and pull. It will pop right out and you have easy access to the wires behind it. This works for the trucks with a center console and I would guess it works for the bench seat trucks too.

I was actually considering running the fogs from this power source. The wiring harness I have (Bling Lights) has only one positive lead. The relay is hard wired into the harness. Not sure how to separate this to only hook the relay to the switched side.
Thanks for all the help so far.

You should have a switch lead and a power lead. The switch lead will allow power only when the ignition is on, or only when the other lights are on, or whatever you want to do. I suggest putting the dash switch either on this switch line or the ground coming out of the relay. The power lead is what powers the lights. The power should come from the battery and should have a fuse on it. You want the fuse to blow if the wires ever short out. You CAN probably run the power off the cigarette lighter since that might have a good size fuse and enough amps for your lights, but then you wouldn't be able to use it for anything else. I don't recommend it, but it might work. I say do it right the first time and you don't have to fix it later.

Here's a diagram of the relay wiring. Maybe it will help you understand how it's wired a little better:
