How to remove bed light / 3rd brake light?

I would like to remove the bed light / 3rd brake light. Then I can run the antenna for my satelite radio from the headliner out through the light opening. Any ideas / suggestions? I took the lens cover off but could not find a way to remove the light. I was being very cautious careful not to break anything.

I've looked twice now to remove that thing and from the shop drawings I've seen it looks like it has to be unbolted from the inside (i.e. drop the headliner)

which should be easy to do since nothing is holding the headliner up back there anyway!

Thumbs up

Thanks for linking those PDF files sky.

Sure would have been nice if Toyota would have left a couple of plugs in the roof to access the 3rd BL bolts like on the Titan.

Agree re.ac.tor! Too bad we can't take the best of the neat little things from the Titan and add them to the best of the neat little things on the Tundra and have a really great Tundra!

Mine came with a port installed XM and like most places now, they ran the antenna to the base of the driver side A-pillar on top of the dash.

Steve, you got a picture of the antenna installation? I'm thinking about adding Sirius and am interested in alternatives for the antenna. Thanks!

I'm getting me another "new" digital camera today or tomorrow and will use it to take a pic. I decided I "needed" one that will fit in my shirt pocket. The SLR style is just too bulky. Whichever, I'll never have the appropriate one with me -- know what I mean?
