Does anyone have the official Toyota programming instructions for a remote for a 2008 Tundra? Just purchased the Tundra and need to add a remote to the valet key ring.

I'm not sure what you're looking for, but the programming is actually done by the dealership to the ECU on the truck (See PDF below). I'm looking for some info on the remotes but so far all I've found is how to change the battery so you may have to have the dealership do it.

Here's some more custom settings including the Remote Registration which has to be done by the Dealership. Looks like a total of 4 remotes can be registered to the truck.

Thanks for the replies but not exactly what I'm looking for.I have a new remote that I need to program and when I needed to do the same for my 02 Camry I found TSB dated July 19,2002 titled Programming OEM Wireless Door Lock Remote Transmitters EL004-01 that gave a step by step method to program the remote to several different Toyota models. I used these instructions thru 2004 but would not work for my 06 Sienna and I was hoping that a similar TSB existed for the 07-08 Tundra . Sellers of these remotes on E-Bay states that they will provide programming instructions with their remotes;sometime they work and sometimes they don't . I know that the dealer can do it but most charge and I've always been able to do it myself in past years. I've even seen programming instructions in owners manuals (Ford and Chev). Maybe it's a dealer thing now but I'm sure that it's out there somewhere.

Just had miine in the shop. All the settings got wiped out. How? Unknown. Just happened. The shop has to do it. Ask them for all the options. Ranges from auto headlight shut off, interior light timing etc.

That's kinda odd. Hope it doesn't happen again.

I have a new 2nd remote and I need to program it. I tried the following instructions on my 08 Tundra SR5 Dual Cab and none of them worked:
TOY451
TOY460

Does anyone have the instructions? I looked everywhere on this site and other sites but didn't find any other instructions.

Looks like it unless you can find a shop that owns the programmer.
