| New remotes won't program I bought two used remotes for a 2006 double cab, I followed the ridiculous directions (6 times) and they won't work. The truck goes through the self-lock confirming the right steps have been taken. Question: Do the FCC numbers on the back of the remotes have to match any numbers somewhere on/in the truck? Or maybe both batteries are dead.?? |

| Okay, I got a remote with the FCC matching the number in my manual. I have tried the method from programyourremote and the other method of "insert and remove twice, open and close door twice.........." Neither one work. The programyourremote method will make the locks cycle automatically, but the part with the "push lock and unlock simultaneously the the unlock after that.........part isn't taking. ??? Any suggestions? (The light on the remote flashes when I push the buttons, I am assuming it is a good battery) |
