| Powered Tonneau Cover Lock I just finished making the power tailgate lock modification (Thanks to Toxarch and Tonyspin for their great directions and pictures) and now I want to figure out some way to make the tonneau cover lock powered to. Has anyone figured out a way to make the lock on an ARE tonneau powered?   |

| I'm working on a powered lock for my Lazerlite Cover. I have some brackets made and a couple of actuators, but haven't decided on a final design yet. I need to do a few test fits to see which idea will work best. I'll try to remember to post it when I'm done. Not sure when that will be though. I'm not in a hurry, so it probably depends on what else is going on and how the weather is when I'm free. |

| I bought one when I got my Leer. It was only $75, $30 to hook it up. They just spliced into the door lock wiring next to the drivers seat as the wire runs to the B pillar for the back doors. It works great and had no r&d on my part. |

| Tox found the connections in the passenger side front door threshold that works great on my tail gate lock mod! Seems to me he had a pretty easy time running it back to the rear of the truck. Maybe Tox can jump in here?
