| I haven't done any first gen dashes. I have been told the early Tundras were a single bulb to light the dash. It's possible the gauge had LEDs in 2001. And if so, it is possible that the single LED went out. You would have to open up the gauges to swap out the LED. It would take some soldering on a circuit board. Do you know what color it was? I have some LEDs that I have removed from other gauges (gen 2 Tundras) and I will send you the LEDs (free) if I have the correct one. Most all Toyotas are PLCC2 LEDs and I have a bunch of amber and red ones. Have you done any soldering before? If not, then I suggest letting someone who has do it for you. Any way you can take it apart and post up a picture of the bad LED?
