Auto Head lights

I don't think my truck has the auto head lights, where the sensor should be it looks like just a black plug. If anyone has info on this..I need wiring info and sensor part numbers. I hope the harness is in there.

Are you talking about daytime running lights?

I didn't see anywhere on the Toyota site about there being auto on/off headlights.

If I understand DSLKSL's issue, I believe the "auto" headlights (you turn Headlight switch to "auto," and they come on at dark, off at daylight), are available only on the Limited models. If someone knows differently, please correct me.

I bought a 2008 Corolla for my wife when I bought the truck her light switch is just like mine but she has the sensor. so she can leave the switch in the off position and when dark her lights come on and the light comes on the dash as well. They turn back off when she shuts the car off.

Well I was wondering the same thing since my 04' Silverado did have this feature. I did confirm that if you get out of your truck and leave the lights on they will turn themselves off after a few seconds or so.

Interesting question. My auto dimming mirror has a light that softly shows on the gear shift that comes on when it dark. But, I didn't know that the auto lights were a feature? (are they?) I just thought Toyota didn't offer them.

Yes, I have the Limited and it does have auto headlights. Since I only looked at one SE I have no clue if you get auto headlights as part of some option on those models.
