So the basic Crewmax, has no headlight reminder?

Hey now,

Just curious, when you leave your lights on, do you guys get that chime to remind u to turn it off. I just got the Crewmax, TRD bench seat....I wanted the upgrades but needed the 6 seats....

I don't think there is a reminder because they will turn themselves off or you can turn them off with the remote. If you leave them on and get out of the truck (and use the remote to lock the doors if you want), they will stay on for a minutes or two and then shut off automatically. Or you can press the lock button on the remote twice and the doors will lock and the lights will turn off right away. So it's not a big deal if you leave your lights on all the time or forget to turn them off when you get out of the truck.

I have the SR5. My lights will turn off in a couple of minutes once I shut off the truck. The only way to keep them on when the truck is off is to leave the truck off, then turn the lights off and then back on.

Cool thanks, I'll try when I get it back. I dropped her off again today to get the leather fixed and the tailgate paint. I only got curious is when I dropped the tundra off the first time and when I picked her off the stations and clock where all reset. So, I figured the battery died because they forgot to switch the lights to off.

The Limited Tundras don't have a chime to remind you that your lights are on either.
But, the lights do turn off automatically if you leave them on.

I left my lights on while I was feeding this morning and they went out. I don't have any special packages at all, that I know of.

ditto to everyone else - no chime, you can wait for them to turn off by themselves or turn them off with your remote.
