    Crank and no start

Hey guys. This morning was the coldest morning we've had so I attempted to start my truck with the Python remote start that came with my truck. I heard it cranking and it didn't start, so I went outside and got in to try to start it myself, to no avail. Had to get a ride to work and did a little digging, maybe the remote start messed with the immobilizer, so when I got home, I closed all the doors, locked it, unlocked it 3x from the door, and even from the drivers seat, and it still cranks good but it won't turn over. I have pulled the fuses one by one and even swapped around compatible relays, and it still will crank but not start.

The red key light next to the clock goes off when I put the black immobilizer key into the ignition, and it's not throwing any codes, I can't think of what to check next.

Any ideas where to go from here?

I pulled the fuel line from the rail and put that into a jar, cranked with no fuel coming out. I sprayed some engine starter fluid into the intake and it started but stumbled and died after a few seconds.

    Incoming new fuel pump!

Before you arbitrarily change the fuel pump you should do some checking to find out whether it is the fuel pump, the fuel pump ECU, or the wiring that is bad. The wiring is on pages 1 & 2 of the attachment.

Okay, so I had figured out that my fuel line was getting gunked up. We managed to drop the tank, and ran pressurized air through the lines and what looked like a bit of Venom from Spider Man came out of one of the return to tank lines, and we hooked everything back up and it started.

The issue I have now, is that it's doing it again. Now that I know what is happening, I need to figure out what is causing it. It's completely black, with no gray or rust coloring, and it's sort of a sludge.

The story is the same, it started yesterday, perfectly fine, drove it home with no stumbling, parked it. Got up, went to head to work, crank, stumble, die. And there is no fuel going to the rail.

    Any ideas?
