| Did the dealer that quoted you put the trk on a lift and pull the wheels? |
| ||||
| I've also seen caliper pins / slides work out and allow one end of the caliper to drop. But this would happen on both sides. ?????????????? |
| ||||
| Not sure what is going on, and hope I'm not jinxing it, but I picked the truck up from Toyota sat. morning and the noise is gone. No... they didn't do any work to it. They just pulled it alll apart and put it together again and the noise is gone. That would make me think that it was something loose under there the whole time, but they said it was the bearings!? So did the adjuster!? Weird!!! I've tried speeding to warm it up, turning hard side to side... Nothing. Not complaining. Just confused! |

| Maybe it was something simple and STEALER trying to drum up BUCKS! YOU ARE OVER 100,000 MILES, what kind of extended warranty do you have? |
| ||||
| I use National Dealers Warranty. They've been pretty good till now. We figured the dealer was lying. I'm going to bring the truck in to another local shop and ask them to look at the bearings and tell us if they are bad. If not, the local Toyota dealer is in for it, and so is the adjuster!! I'm thinking of switching to USFidelis. They quoted an 18 month policy payment at $95.00 /month. 5 yr 100k mile warranty. I paid $$3300.00 for NDW. |
