| Low end acceleration loss after mods... I've had my Flowmaster 50 and Volant CAI for a little over a month. I have seemed to lost some low end power and was wondering if the only way to regain this is to get an aftermarket chip? I understand I changed the way my engine breathes but is there an alternative to the chip? Conversely when I am in manual shift mode my acceleration is much better. After my mods my mileage did not suffer at all and may actually be a bit better. I get 18.5mpg (imperial gallon) with average driving habits. I also get many compliments on the sound of my truck but regaining my low end would certainly be nice.
