Cherry Bomb Exhaust.

Anyone looked at or tried the Cherry Bomb Exhaust :: High Performance Exhaust Systems, Cat-Back Systems, Mufflers and Glasspacks :: Disturbing the Peace Since 1968?

Being that I like to try different things, I ordered up the vortex single in dual out. Should be here tommorrow. A freind opened his own shop and is doing the install for cost with tips included. Just had to slap his shops name on the rear window. Hopefully a sound clip will follow, cross all fingers and toes, I'm hoping and wishing for a deep growl. If not I guess thats why a sawzall comes in handy.

I had Cherry Bomb Glass Packs on my Shelby back in the 80's. They were loud once the fiber glass wore out. I miss that car and sound. Lets us know the results of the Vortex.

if i recall from back in the high school days there was something about pouring vinegar in the glasspack and that would help get the fiberglass out to make it louder. of course that could be something we made up cause we were young and dumb....oh those were the days.

Cherry Bombs! Wow, you mean they still make those.

Paid $120 installed for a pair of Cherry Bombs on my old 71 GMC P/U w/350 4 bolt main. Even though they droned like hell, I didn't mind it a bit! I think the higher levels of testosterone in my system at the time increased my tolerance to pain.

Oh my God Bro.... I'm replying to this thread just to subscribe in the hopes that you get a sound clip up. Taking me back to 1983 when we put Cherry Bombs on my Brother's 68 Chevelle. I don't remember a deep growl, but more of like loud pop...pop...pop....pop...

Yea the pop pop pop of the tube cherry bomb brings back great memories. The vortex and the pro are more the line of flowmaster. The shop was comparing the 70 series flow and vortex, with the vortex being deeper. We shall see and I'll keep everyone posted.

And Tony I admired your photos long enough that I placed the order in for wet okles. Black with red down the middle. I should have them first or second week in jan 09. All this work lately, time to expend a bit.
