| Added a Flowmaster 50 Series today Let me start by saying, I was not going for the loudest muffler out there. Been there done that. With this truck, I was looking for something that maintained the quietness inside, yet didn't sound stock on the outside. When I went to the muffler shop today, I was leaning towards Magnaflow. They are known for being quiet inside, yet rumbling outside. However, the guy at the shop talked me into the Flowmaster 50 Series. I was hesitant at first because I've had 40 Series Flowmasters on previous V8's - and while they sound aggressive outside, they'll knock your teeth loose inside. I must say, this 50 Series is perfect for what I wanted. A low, deep sound inside (slightly over stock), but rumbling outside. I'll have a buddy drive it around the block for me later and let you know how deep it is on the exterior. But I wanted to share my experience with you.

| I ran the 50 on my Titan and it sounded GREAT! I wanted to get a 50 for the Tundra but they didnt have one in stock...so I went with the magnaflo. It seems to be slightly louder than the flowmaster 50 that I had on my Titan... but the 50 had a deeper rumble to it. Nice choice!

| It cost $300 out the door, and I live in San Diego where everything costs more. They make a dual in, single out 50 Series, so yes, it will directly swap. You just have to match up the inlet size to 2 1/4" - which is the factory pipe size. |

| u havent been to quebec - cost more than more.... thanks... do u have a photo of the muffler... ? is the sound really a big differance from the stock version ? I do alot of highway and dont want the loud hum inside the cabin i found with the TRD version exhaust but i want to cool deep throat sound in the city. |

Personally, I think it's perfect. Hardly any drone, but aggressive outside and much cheaper than the TRD setup. |
